The Fruit Fields has two Pick Your Own Farms – one at Cookham in Berkshire and the other at Iver in Buckinghamshire. Both offer a wide range of high quality seasonal fruit and vegetables.
A resurgence in interest for locally grown produce, together with the fun that can be obtained from fruit picking, continues to attract visitors back year after year. Strawberries, raspberries and cherries remain firm favourites with our customers.
Keep the children amused
There is so much to be gained from picking fresh fruits and vegetables and many of us have happy childhood memories of doing just that. It is a wonderful way for children to get some fresh air whilst learning and having fun – and there’s a tasty treat at the end.
Children quickly catch onto picking the biggest and ripest of fruits and dropping them into the basket. But the fun doesn’t stop there because children just love to help prepare the fruits and get involved with cooking when you get home. You’ll find that they will be nagging you for a return visit!
Not only do they look good and taste good – they do you good too!
Aside from the exercise and well-being obtained from being out in the fresh air, fresh fruit and vegetables are nutritionally good for you too.
Fruit and vegetables are important in your diet and eating them gives your body a wide range of valuable nutrients like vitamins, fibre and antioxidants.

We make a minimum charge of £4/ Person. The charge is, however, refunded off the produce you pick and buy . It is not refunded off anything purchased from the shop. (Not applicable on Fruit Festival Days).
The entrance charge is paid at our entry tills before you pick any fruit and vegetables.
Due to Covid-19 and social distancing on busy days the entrance charge is prepaid by a voucher booking system to reserve your entry time.
On quieter days this will be charged upon exit.
FRUIT FESTIVAL DAYS – Voucher Entry Only
During the main fruit season we know that there are some people who would prefer to just come along to the farm to pick and eat fruit. For these visitors we hold Fruit Festival Days on some Sundays during the peak season.
Entry on these days is £8 per Adult and £5 for Children and you are able to eat the fruit in the fields. If you should also decide to take some fruit home with you, then this will be weighed and charged at half price. This presents an excellent opportunity if you were wanting to stock up on supplies for the freezer or make jam. You are also able to enjoy picnics on the farm on Fruit Festival Days.
